Immigration Survey

1. Are you aware that Michigan spends over $850 million on unauthorized immigrants by providing higher education, health care, other direct services, and dealing with higher law-enforcement costs?

2. Do you believe that you and other taxpayers in Michigan should cover the costs for immigrants who are in our state illegally?

3. Do you support increasing taxes in Michigan to allow more unauthorized immigrants to gain access to public services?

4. Sanctuary jurisdictions are cities, counties, and localities that do not enforce federal immigration laws such as the prosecution and deportation of unauthorized immigrants. There are currently four sanctuary jurisdictions in Michigan: Ingham, Kalamazoo and Wayne counties and the city of Lansing. Do you support sanctuary jurisdictions in Michigan?

5. Do you believe that the significant increase in unvetted immigration poses a serious challenge to the state of Michigan’s ability to maintain its sovereignty and security?
