Senate committee to give public opportunity to voice property tax concerns

LANSING, Mich. — Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Jim Runestad, R-White Lake, announced that a special meeting of the committee will take place in February in Novi.

The Senate Finance Committee will meet on Monday, Feb. 24 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers Room of the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. 10 Mile Road, to discuss property taxes, the tax assessment process and how to effectively appeal your assessments when errors have occurred.
